To combat land buying scams in Senegal, four female coders have created an app to simplify the purchase of land and protect people's data. The creators of the app call themselves "the women in charge," and have been supported by an initiative created by the Senegalese government encouraging women to take roles in STEM. French Workers left work 15.1% early on 7th Nov, to protest the pay-gap that exists in France. Due to this hourly wage gap, women are effectively working 38.2 days of the year for free. Men, as well as women were encouraged to protest, to show that the gender pay gap is not just a women's issue, it effects everyone. Solidarity to you ladies.
Have a great week,
