A solicitor who joined her local law firm as a 15-year-old work experience intern has become the youngest ever female judge. Briony Clarke was sworn in as a deputy district judge after 16 years at Essex firm Taylor Haldane Barlex LLP (THB). The 31-year-old took her judicial oaths the day before International Women’s Day in front of Chelmsford Crown Court resident judge Charles Gratwicke. Without doubt an incredible achievement to have reached such a high level so young. What an amazing woman, really shows that there’s never a bad time to start chasing your dreams.

An Egyptian woman has become the first Arab female pilot to fly the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger plane. Nevin Darwish has been shown in a video flying the aircraft from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to Vienna, Austria, alongside Emirati first officer Alia Al Muhairi, the youngest Emirati A380 female pilot. What an amazing team! Girls across the globe now have some amazing role models not just for being pilots but for being pioneers! All the passengers on their flights must know what safe hands they’re in.

Caramel Curves is the only all-female African American motorcycle club in New Orleans. They're local celebrities thanks to their stunning coordinating outfits and tires that emit pink smoke. Not only are they creating a safe space for women in an undeniably male-dominated world, they even use their fame to fundraise for local community projects! It’s formed of 28 women, all with their own jobs, who still manage to meet every Sunday to ride together. Such an incredible sisterhood of strong women who look out for each other and their community deserves a huge shout out. We absolutely love them!
Have a positive week,
