Queen Of The Week 11: With IMOGEN of The Feeding Of The Fox
Posted on 28 August 2017
We're back to introduce our new queen for our "QUEEN OF THE WEEK" segment on the Neon Moon blog.
Each week we will be blessing you with a different queen who is making waves in the feminist world, body positive community and more with 5 questions about her inspirations and dreams to advice.
This week we interviewed the brave self love warrior and body positive advocate, the incredible Imogen of @the_feeding_of_the_fox. Imogen's story shows her struggles and triumphs throughout her eating disorder and her journey to self love and body positivity. Imogen was born with a genetic impairment. She also has dyslexia, so her school years were not an easy ride. Imogen is completely open with her story, honestly documenting her struggles with disordered eating and self acceptance. After years of self loathing, Imogen discovered the body positive movement following a low point in her life. This amazing woman now uses Instagram as a platform to share her story and her unapologetic selfies and continues to kick diet cultures arse. Imogen also gives advice on her blog to those struggling to know how to nourish their bodies.
From her incredible battles to her unapologetic selfies, we absolutely adore Imogen's contribution to the the bo-po and self love communities.

1. What or who inspires you?
I am inspired by my belief and the beliefs shared by my activist sisters. My belief that we can and will live in a world where women don't feel awful about their bodies anymore. That we'll live in a world where we don't ask 'why' a body does something or looks a specific way, but just accept that it is. That we'll see beauty as something totally unique to each person and not a standard that we should all meet. And that no bodies are marginalised.
2. What's the first thing you would buy if you won £1 million?
I mean, if I'm being honest, I'd probably take all my friends and family out for a big slice of cake to celebrate.
3. What's a piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
To young Imogen, I'd say stop. Stop worrying you're not enough. Stop worrying about what other people think. Stop worrying about a dress size or a number on a scale. Start enjoying. Start embracing. Start experiencing. Start living!
4. What is the big dream for Imogen?
My big dream. Well I think it has to be a life where I am truly free of my eating disorder and to living in a really authentic body positive space. Other than that, just world domination.
5. This is where you can put any question to our amazing supporters and customers. What would you like to know?
There are parts of my body that I've struggle to accept more than others but also parts I thought I could never love but now truly enjoy. I'd love to know what parts of your body you most enjoy, even though it took you longer to accept it?
You've heard it lovelies, what parts of your body do you enjoy the most? Let us know in the comments section below!
